Cheapest Mini Lathe that can Turn Titanium

I frequently turn Titanium gr2 x 10mm round bar on my 7x12 chinese mini lathe using HSS tools without issue. I am an absolute noob on my lathe, yet I find it simple to part, drill and bore Ti gr2 with minimal fluid and sharp tools.

Unfortunately I can't mill Titanium with my X2 mill very well at all.

I lit my X2 on fire trying to mill some Ti a couple weeks ago. That was super fun. I hadn't had too terrible a time turning down the cut ends of some Ti exhaust pipes that I was working with, though. Has anybody got a solution for the Ti and the X2? I'm just making 3mm flanges.

I recently turned 10mm Titanium grade 2 on a small lathe. It was much easier than I thought. I used HHS bit and had no problem. Don

Be aware that Ti shavings can burn like magnesium i.e. very hot and hard to extinguish, so be careful cleaning up.
