Never heard of a Cadillac lathe. Who knows the story? Saw it at an industrial surplus outlet today shopping for a steady rest. Also check out this filthy green goo covered lathe I saw there today.IMG_20221104_141330330_HDR.jpg

Looks like it got slimed! Better call Ghostbusters LOL
It's a Taiwan made machine- fairly decent if not worn out

We have one at my work. Great lathe!

Cutting oil is my blood.

i had to make a difficult decision a couple years ago,
a 1640 Cadillac or a 2040 Victor
the Victor won due to increased swing, but i wanted(and still do) the Cadillac in the worst way

I actually have a Cadillac brand mountain bike
It had sat unsold at a bike shop for years... they gave me a heck of a deal. I liked that the frame was freakishly large, and actually -fit- me!
