A friend picked up a mower like the state uses on the roads. The bearings were bad and had spun on the roller shaft.

He couldn't get bearings to fit so I made him some bushings. The only thing I had was some 1 7/8 die. mystery metal so I used that. Had to trun them down to 1 7/16 and bore the inside to a 1 3/32 to fit the shaft.

Plenty of grease and those bushing should last a long while. Any way to work in a grease fitting?

The bushing will be heated and put on the shaft, The bearings will lock to the bushings so know need for grease.
