Atlas 618 Spindle and General Setup

Thanks guys. I got the large, stepped spacer that goes into the bearing cover on the gear end and the collar with set screw that goes up against the small, geared end of the cone pulley. What a pain, I bet I pulled the spindle out over 10 times tonight because either the woodruff key slipped out… the new large spacer wasn’t in place beforehand the spindle came through that end… etc, etc. I’ll figure out the membership part tomorrow hopefully and get this documentation for adjusting the spindle. Quick test run tonight says it’s all good! Thanks again.
 
Donation done and a quick search found the document I need to adjust the preload on the bearings and such. Thanks bunches everybody! -John
