I have the assembly out. I fixed a few issues. Starting with the set screws holding the steel bushings in. Both ends are no secured much much better. Found some hardened washers thick enough to take up more slack.
The lighting is poor ( and no heat) at the lathe. I spent a few hours readjusting all the gibbs and was able to really dial it in much better. I did not have the patience to film that.
