Mark Jacobs gave me the details for this simple upgrade for my 24v halogen light bucket on my lathe. I did not do a blow by blow picture taking, it must be here somewhere, but my search terms are not right. Unscrew the lens cover, take out the snap rings, pull the round halogen bulb out. The LED is rectangular, so snip the reflector in 4 places, pinch it with pliers to fold it back a bit, and push the LED bulb through the opening, attach the bin plug with new connectors, plug them in, and reassemble the housing, easy easy. The lighted picture is with only the garage lights on, and then with the LED, the halogen was a yellow light, but no picture to compare, sorry. I'm jumping between machines on 3 projects, so this was done before cleaning

I like it, the halogen was a yellowish light, this one is much clearer/brighter.

That was the part number I used, I have no ability to dim it.
