#1MT tool identity?

Bought about twenty drill bits mostly #2MT and a few #1MT today,mixed in were two #1MT tools that I can't identify.
Any insights to what they are or do?

If the slots in the ends are thru, they could be used with emery strips for for "honing"/polishing IDs.

The slots do go through,I thought about emery strips also but I've never seen a tool like this.

Likely shop made, I've done the same with a piece of aluminum round held in the tailstock chuck.

Split rod, works good. 1“ wide sand paper strip doubled over, (longer than bore to be honed) and inserted centered in split.

Such items were common in the machine shops I worked in. Common name for them in this part of the country is "Go Devils". When something didn't quite fit the suggestion was always get out the GoDevil.
