There is a moving supplies vendor in NYC that still uses manual typewriters. I needed some boxes and tape last February so I headed over, I hadn't been there in over a decade so I figured they must have ditched the typewriters and carbon paper invoices, Nope they were still chattering away, the sales clerk even took my paper check (yeah that too) and typed it out for me with amazing speed.
