Hope everybody had a great Christmas. I am checking the accuracy of my lathe. It was off . I adjusted the tail stock and no movement from that end . The head has .020 . I moved the chuck inserts and it did not help. They all screw down at the Same time. I do not see any adjustments in the head . Any suggestion

Perhaps try with the chuck removed from the spindle and the indicator directly on the spindle?
If the spindle is moving I suspect the spindle bearings, is there a preload adjustment?
