I have a run of the mill Chinese 12x36 (unbranded) that resembles the Grizzly g4003 or the older harbor freight machines, and those sold by all sorts of places over the years.

Can anyone tell me if their front "V" way on their PM-12x36 is shaped like mine in the attached photo? Mine is not a true V shape but more of a half V and half sloped angle that may even be a 90 degree angle, I haven`t tried measuring it - i`m really trying to avoid making this with so many other projects in the pipeline.

I am really wanting to buy the PM carriage stop and use it on my machine, rather than making something I wouldn`t be all that happy with. I believe the Grizzly gunsmith 12x36 also has a carriage stop that could work.

Thanks for any input.

Note: If anyone reading this would like to sell their PM carriage stop, let me know!

No problem. Do you have a mill? If yes, theyvare not hard to make. Mikey recently posted a great article on making one.

Will check it out, thanks. I do have a mill just not a lot of time.

If I were you, I would just make a carriage stop, Carlos. It will be much faster than trying to find someone else with the same rail configuration and hoping their maker produced a carriage stop. One good day in the shop should do it.

I modified this turret stop to fit my son’s Sheldon. Picked up another one to modify for mine.
