I just got a what i believe is a 12" Craftsman lathe, for sure the serial number is 101.07383. I only got the change gears that where installed at time of purchase. I'm trying to get a list of a complete set. right now I have a 20, 24, 32A, 36A, 52, and 64. The 20 is unmarked, so it might not be part of the change gear set. Any help would be appreciated.

Bryan,

The three tumbler gears (20T, 24T and 16T/32T) are not considered part of the Change Gear complement. For where they go, and also for the default change gears shipped on the machine, see the 101.07403 parts manual that I just sent you.

All of the change gears for a 101.07383 should be "A" suffix gears. This means that they have 3/8" wide faces and 1/2" wide hubs. Some of the "A" suffix gears gears have an "A" cast into the gear and some don't.

Your Serial Number should be stamped into the top of the front way near the right end. "101.07383" is the Model Number, not the Serial Number.

Thank you for the response. The manuals are a great help.
