OK this is my Favorite Mic the other day I knocked it off the work bench. Now it is .048 off it will close all the way but there is the .048 gap when you 0 it.

Every thing turns free and nothing is bent, There is 2 allen set screws on the end I can turn one but I don't have a allen that will fit the one in the end.

The set that I have goes up to 4" and it came with 2 of the stock wrench you get with a Mic. How ever there is no way that you can use them.

I need a little help figuring out how to get it adjusted any help would be greatly appreciated.

You should be able to loosen that set screw and move the thimble around until you get it aligned and retighten the set screw. At least that's how it is on my B & S mics.

Just to be safe, I would put some bluing dye on the anvil and lightly close the gap to make sure it is making a good square contact. If so, then adjust the colar to zero it back in.

Thanks I'll give it a shot, I had alread checked the anvils there square.
