playing with more copper,, started work on the exhaust header pipe,, besides the engine the boiler feed pump exhaust into the pipe, It also will have a fitting where the vacuum gauge attaches.. cero-bend used to get nice bends, left the cero-bend in the small piece while milling the joint end with a ball-end mill. got the main joint soldered, seems to have got it correct..

had to get a little inventive with the mill clamping,, gauge pipe and feed pump exhaust port added, now for clean-up and copper plating..

started work on the condensate pump, decided a shaped and built-up wasn't the way to go, giving this a try..

found some info on using epoxy as binder to help make small casting cores less fragile, made a mold of the core and added just a small amount of epoxy to some delft sand/clay,, looks like it worked, the core still scrapes and sands well, but feels strong.. maybe a day or so before I make a casting attempt..
