I've been using Mobile Vactra 2 since I put my shop together. It now costs $60 a gallon shipped.

I just ordered this to try out for a decade or so. $24 a gallon shipped.

Presidential Way Oil 68 - Industrial Lubricants and Premium Oils for Milling Machines & Other Machine Tools - Control Straight-Line Motion - Made in USA - (5 gal)

Anyone ever tried it? It's made in Cleveland out of the waste removed from the Cuyahoga river from the 1970's mixed with the salty sludge from the side of the roads in the winter.....:anon:

Any feedback would be great.

Waiting to hear. Probably be just fine,

The last time I bought any bar and chain oil, it was obviously reclaimed.
It smelled like 90wt gear oil.
Now using way oil reclaimed from the coolant sumps on the CNCs at my old shop.
I'll be sorry when it's gone.

Any oil is better than no oil.

That Cuyahoga river thing was a joke.....lol

If it has a SAE rating or API rating I would use it no problem. If it has a Crisco or I can’t believe it’s not oil sticker, not so much.

Or you can just buy one 5 gal pail from amazon or zoro for about $150 shipped and have a lifetime supply of the good stuff.

Sell half to a friend if you don't need that much?
