Hi, I just would like to show you the adaptor plates and draw bar I made to complete me X-Y table to my radial drill. The footprint of the X-Y table did not match the bed slots of my mill/drill so I made a left and right set of plates to attach the table to the bed. Using 82 degree Allen head 1/2" hardware to secure the plates to the table and then the Allen socket heads to the TEE slots of the bed got that done. I also made the draw bar to hold the collet holder to the spindle. The spindle is M3 taper and did not use a drawbar. Now I can secure the collet holder properly. The 1/2" bolts in the photo were made to hold the vice plate by under cutting the shoulder and reducing the thickness of the hex to fit into the Tee slots. Now I can use the Mill/Drill table for milling when needed using collets. The last photo is my old set-up. Thanks for looking, Charlie.
