This is my solution to quickly set parts on a rotary table aligned with the X axis & at a known reference distance from the centre.
The fixture locates itself with the outside of the rotary table & indexes using the tee slot.
Slide the fixture on until it stops - tighten the allen screw and it is precisely aligned with the machines X axis & accurately repeatable @ 110mm from the rotary table centre. No edgefinder or dti required, use a ground pin in a toolholder for an end stop as shown in the video.
