Will Craftsman 109 Change Gears Work On An Atlas H48?

No. Definitely not. The Craftsman lathes with model numbers beginning with 109 are either 6X18's or 6x12's (and were not made by Atlas). I have seen it written more than once that the AA or Dunlop t" lathe's change gears can be used on the various Atlas built 6" machines but they are different from the gears used on the Atlas built 10" and 12". Smaller bore and finer (higher DP) gear teeth.
