Which tachometer sensors work with Touch DRO ?

I'm looking for a tachometer with a sensor that can work with Touch DRO, and I have not found documentation on the touch DRO site about what kinds of sensor can be used.

I don't have a touch DRO right now, I will order it, it looks like a pretty awesome project, but the process of selecting glass scales and installing them will likely take time, and in the meantime, it would be nice if I could just use a tacho like this one :

I would think that should work. Not sure how many magnets to use for best results. I used 4 in my installation https://www.hobby-machinist.com/threads/adding-touchdro-tach-readout-for-my-mill.108331/

One thing to be a where of is the magnetic field polarity maters. My sensor did not work in my original setup.
