Which adapter for these scales?

I'm going to get my dad an upgrade for his lathe DRO.

It's a 5-10 year old Sino. I hate the "English" translations they used - for example absolute mode is "ALE" not "ABS". It's confusing to him, and for a reasonable price I can do something nice for him.

Do I need more info about the scales, or should I just order "Option B"?

As far as I know, Sino has always used the same pinout as Ditron and Easson (so, option B).
You can open up one of the connectors and do a basic sanity check (i.e. "do I have wires going to unexpected pins).
