I have looked here and on the touchdro website but I didn't find a definite mention of whether the touch dro adapter should be unplugged when not in use. I don't want to lose calibration info but I also don't want wreck it by keeping it constantly under power if that is a possibility.

You can leave it plugged in 24/7. There is nothing that will wear out over time on that board (not even the capacitors; I don't use electrolytic or tantalums at all).
Calibration data is in the app. As a general rule, if you ever run into a DRO (or anything else) that looses calibration data when you power it off, the engineer who designed it should not be allowed to engineer anything else...

Yuriy,
Thank you! I don't know if I missed that information in the manual but your response is exactly what I need to know. Thank you!

Installed TouchDRO on my Mini-Mill 3 years ago and other than when I changed from the Galaxy Tab-A to the current Kindle Fire HD 10 (plus a few times when the tablets were re-booting and when I updated the app today), the app has been running and the tablets have been plugged in.

The TouchDRO on the Mini-Lathe Kindle Fire HD 8 has been running since October, 2023 other than a few minutes here & there. When not in use, the Fire is plugged in (runs off battery during use due to the way I have the Fire mounted):
