What oil to use in my power feed

I am looking for information on what type of oil goes in my power feed. I am restoring a M head, round ram, Bridgeport mill that has the early, somewhat heavy, power feed. I had to remove the drive motor to get it in my shop and lost all the oil. The quill calls for Mobil Velocite #6 and I have a gallon of it. However, that seems kind of thin to use in the gearbox of the power feed. Any information would be appreciated.

for future reference, I contacted H&W about this question. They said, as I suspected, that heaver gear oil is run in these gearboxes. I think I am going to try Lucas Gear lube. I have seen the countertop display, with the crank and gears and it seem that would be good for this application.
