What mounts to these rods (mag base).

I purchased a used Starrett 657A mag base. It came as pictured.

But it also came with two bonus rods pictured below.

What kinds of attachments mount to them?

I'm sure it's obvious. I tried google image search but couldn't find a hit.

Dial Indicators . They're most likely from a surface gage but can be used on a mag base as well .

Ah. All my dials have a flat back and mount around the stem.

I'd forgotten there are ones with a lug on the back. Doh!

Keep them , They're handy to have in the tool shed .
