Found this in my Dads Garage and have no idea what it is. He had several older Atlas & Craftsman Lathes. I have one of the 6 inch Craftsman's, just curious if this goes with it. Thanks

Surface gage . If it has pins in the base , it's a toolmakers gage .
 
Its a paperweight,. or, Its a challenge. Without the rust it's a tool lmaker's gage
