Mounted the VFD for my Clausing 100 lathe. I am trying to get all the pre work done before I take the old single-phase motor off of it. Sure, as I shut it down, I will find a reason to use it. I have 2 Clausing lathes the !00 and 5913ish. But I am doing a complete resto on the 5913 so it is down until I get finished with it. The little Clausing 100 has made several parts to heal itself and many other parts needed elsewhere. Mounting this VFD doesn't look much of a job, but it took me most of the afternoon to get it done. I used 10-24 Nut certs in the Sheetmetal wall and my home-made tool for expanding them. Was a real PIA. Flat surfaces is no problem but using them on the corrugated Sheetmetal is difficult.
