Do you mean that hobby-machinist doesn't control whether to apply or skip software changes? If not, why not?

The "Like" button previously had a fairly useful set of reactions. These were A GOOD THING. Otherwise, we're encouraging users to post essentially content-free messages that say "I agree" or "That's clever", etc. This is a busy site and such postings really just waste user's time for most people. If I'm following a thread because somebody posted an interesting technique, I really don't want to see umpteen postings saying what a good job the OP did. The old like button gave the OP positive feedback without me wading through a tonne of 'attaboy' messages.
