What can you make from 3 broom handles, 4 shower curtain rings, and a rubber sheet?

I hate sweeping up after working on the mill. So I came up with this. Most of the swarf collects in the channel behind the vice, anything that lands on the table also gets swept in to the channel.
Then the channel gets swept into the trash bucket.The double rail(Dollar store metal broom handles) and shower curtain rings allow the whole thing to move side to side with the table. The rubber sheet (I think is a flat roof membrane) is held to the table by two old hard drive magnets, and the top rail is held on with a bungie cord making it easy to remove if its going to be in the way.

I also hate cleaning up after milling something, the chips seem to fly all over the place...

I still need to give you a call....
I have not forgotten!!!
My honey-do list is getting shorter every month....
But then i am getting my Clausing 8520 mill in 2 weeks time and i am sure something else will be added to compensate for the time spent
getting it into the basement!:biggrin:

A guy just up the road in Sweaburg!

He bought it two years ago to start a small machine shop in his garage.
He then remembered he had bigger, better and newer machines at work...
And someone else to run them for him!

He has offered to deliver it for me for no extra cost!
I will go and help him load at his place and unload at mine into the garage.
Then it is take apart time and carry down basement steps!!!
I need to get an elevator installed!:biggrin:
