What are these tiny vices?

When do you think this little clamp is from?
I got it earlier this week, and i noticed it was hand made, but i see a tiny stamp on it, after i used a bit of evaporust.
The nut is made pretty poorly, which is why im surprised to see a stamp. I think it says something Tissot? so I assume this is a watchmakers vice of sorts?

I picked up this newer one several months ago, and it also is quite old, but not as old as the one i found this week. it has wider jaws which are also textured. The nut also looks hand made, but this vice is made of tool steel, the other isnt.
They both have a bore all the way through, and even though the clamping pin.
How old do you think the blacker one is? Thanks!

Yes, a hand vise, still being made, I think, but I'd have to doubt that one would be used by a watchmaker, with those rough looking jaws.
 
The differences between vises and vises depend on what sides of the oceans and borders we live on, and on whether we took school seriously or not.
