Looks like a lot of expanding collets. Once you get used to using them you’ll wonder how you got along without them.
Rovi has some you tube vids showing how they work. Hardinge makes one type
as do other makers. I think Rovi makes 5c type that hold up to six inch dia parts.

As stated above , they look like 5C expansion arbors . Where is the auction Dan ?

Dave, on the shore in Federalsburg. Look up Trice auctions.

congrats. You managed to find one of the few decent items at an auction full of junk

I would have liked a few of these collet lots, so it is lucky they dont do shipping or you'd have had competition

Looks to me like most of Id collets in pic have been turned down and most of their life is gone. Cann’t see if collets are 5c type. I have been making my own type for about 60 years . Most of mine are have a soft expanding collet that is turned to size on machine using them. Once used they are returned to a smaller size and reused until used up and replaced with a new head. The ones Hardinge make are pricey.
Another American company Rovi collets in California makes good ones with replaceable heads. From about 1/2 inch too 6 inch dia. One other thing if you need to hold dead length Id collets are the way to go.
So if these collets don’t have replaceable heads I would stay away from them.
