Wells Index Vertical Mill - $850 (novato, CA)

Head gears are bent? What does that mean? How could you even do that? Like engage a spindle lock while it’s running or? This seems like a good candidate for redoing the spindle for take R8 collets or is this already not need that? He sounds desperate enough might go down on the price. Just hoping somebody in the area could maybe catch a deal.
 
Probably means the spindle is bent but how you do that is anybody's guess
