Caleb Army_065.JPGHappy Birthday from my family. Odd to hold a tool made for us backward folks, and just kick butt! I've never had a digital caliper or mic yet.:))

learning to use it might be a problem if you have been using even a r.h. non-digital one. just sayin. . . . .
I thought it would be cool to finally get a l.h. scissor a few years ago. I could not cut a line to save my butt. it just felt "wrong". but its interesting to know their available. . .
oh, Happy Birthday by the way.

I want one! I have been wanting to get one for the lathe. I am right handed, but checking the diameter of a piece on the lathe is just terrible with right-handed calipers. Yes, yes I "know" I should be using a mic, but that is even harder IMO.

They have a regular dial one too.

I find myself putting my calipers and mic on parts in such a way that the numbers face away from me. I suspect I will use these naturally. One less thing in this world to fight. Thanks for the Hbday.

Got me curious - I found them at Shars and on ebay (of course!) as well as Grizzly.

Gotta watch shars though. I saw a $100 tool there with $100 shipping. I got a pallet shipped from CT to MO for that kind of money. 42" bport table, two 6" bport vises with swivel bases, and a 12" rotary table. Not just one small item not in need of truck freight. Sneaky, sneaky, shame on you! I was looking for hard to find end mills and got hammered there for $20 shipping on two small metric mills. Not such a good deal after shipping a lot of times.
