I just went on a superb weight loss program that I'm excited to tell everyone about. I ordered everything from an Aloris tool post to X-Y-Z axis DRO's. It's going to start raining stuff in a few weeks, and I'm excited, and my wallet is much slimmer and my wife has already noticed the difference!

Sorry if this isn't the place to vent that excitement, but I have to add that the folks at DROPros are top notch and bent over backwards to help me order what I need. The folks at Grizzly were likewise very accomodating and their technical staff has been most helpful with my mill. Everything wasn't perfect with the mill shipping and the machine wasn't perfect either, but they worked hard and made sure that every little thing was made right. Credit where it's due.

I have a big empty shop now but that's about to change! To quote London Tipton from one of my daughters shows, "Yeah me!"

Your such a bragger:nono: & I'm jealous:drool: My wallet looks like a crack ***** & I aint even bought anything in a while.

It was a trade off. We sold some land to free up a few pounds of flesh.

I would call it bragging if I didn't feel like my head was just now breaking the surface after a long deep dunking. It's honestly been hard to enjoy, still a bit gunshy.

We just got a dog that has spent her whole life as a sled dog in a kennel with 30+ other dogs. The first night here she just cowered. Once we got her out running, well okay, pulling, she perked right up and loves all the attention. She wants in all the time, but when we let her in she just slinks around and then wants back out. I feel like I can relate.

Not many years back my whole family was living on that remote land we just sold, in a tent. It was awesome, but neither my wife nor I really want to do it again. We brought a newborn back to that tent, for a couple of months before moving into town.

A big shop soon to be filled with tools feels a lot like security to me. Here's to hoping anyways...
