HELP I'm wanting to learn how to make and use Gravers like watchmakers use, I'm thinking it would make making Valve Pistons faster and better

Bob Tascione has a tape on using the watchmaker's lathe that you can buy- he shows how to use the gravers in it. The Nat. Assoc Watch Clock Collectors (NAWCC) also has a tape showing how to use them properly.

Thanks guys for the suggestions, I've ordered a bunch of HSS 1/8" blanks to start with, Found them local for $1.50 each. I'm going to try grinding them like the Sherline tutorial says and see if I can figure out how to use them w/o Pricey Tutorial Videos. the Scary thing is there are so many Neat Techniques that Watchmakers and Clockmakers use, that I'd Love to learn, that outside of a few youtube videos I can't find any info on with out paying big money to learn these Sacred Secrets. one thing I've enjoyed about the few youtube videos I've seen, is the huge amount of Ideas I'm designing in to my my Lathe Mill tool for my slotcar box. and since I can't and won't pay for this scared Knowledge, I'm hoping to find some good guy to share the secrets of the ancients

You might find a good watchmaker's forum. If they have a good "community" going as this one seems to you may find some locals willing to have you come over and learn a thing or two.
