Want to learn to program Mazak Lathe, manual?

Was talking to a co-worker and got a bit motivated to learn. However, I discovered my manuals I downloaded don't really seem to cover programming. Skimming through the table, it looked like it was for everything else. My co-worker says he learned a little bit from people and from reading manuals. I recently got to run a part and didn't like the pecking and feed rate. In that moment, I wished I could have edited it.

The machines are Mazak Nexus II 200 and Mazak Nexus II 250. How can I learn to program a Mazak Lathe?

Mazatrol is a proprietary control as far as I know, have never used one so can't help you specifically here. However I suspect that it has a MDI conversational mode much like any other high end control.

I have run them but never programed them. The feed rate can be ran 0-150% of what is set in the program. From a dial on the panel. The operating manual should explain conversational . You can download an ap or chart for G code
