You'll just have to try it and see- no discernible wire colors

There's really no danger- it will either work or it won't. If it doesn't go, you need to swap the pairs

Yes the rotation can be changed- you need to swap one of the pairs. I suggest at this point labeling the wires
A,B,C and D so you can keep track. Use masking tape and a sharpie for example.
Any order is fine as long as you can ID them, starting with the way they are now

Couldn’t find anything on reversing the rotation on this model but others are somewhat the same
Loosen this screw and rotate the bushes about 10° and. Shazam
