Vises

I have a chinese copy of a kurt wih a swivel base, there seems to be a LOT of slop when I loosen the swivel up to rotate it. Is there a vise that when indicated in parallel with the table that is really true if I wanted to angle it 20deg left then 20 deg right????

If i were real concerned with getting the angle "right" I would make use of a known angle or angle gauge, place it in the vise and index off of it. Even on my Kurt, which is fairly tight on it's rotary base you'd still be better off using the aforementioned technique.
