Vintage thread gauge

So I picked up a box full of miscellaneous tools and hardware today at a flea market and I happen to find a thread gauge in here what I'm wondering is if anyone can make out what the brand is, it's pitted and difficult to make out

Could it be UNION TOOL CO? It doesn't look like Wilton Tool Co ever made thread gauges, but I did find this, and while it's missing the <> on the ends, the lettering and layout look very very similar

Looks like UNION TOOL CO to me.

It is the UNION TOOL Co
The MASS USA resolves, as does TOOL Co
There is not enough font space for "WIL" in Wilton, and also Wilton were in Ohio.
The concave curve brackets is surely enough to confirm it, thanks to @Cam3r0n .
