Inspired by Mr. Pete, I decided to try installing the Vevor x-axis power feed on my newly acquired PM-833T. Short version: it is possible but you will lose some table access.

Longer version:
The mounting holes are a bit different and I didn't want to drill holes into the end of the table, so I made an adapter plate from 1/4" thick steel plate I had on hand:

A bushing to fit the needle bearing and leadscrew:

The unit was mounted at an angle to provide easier control access:

The drive gear collar thing was cut to length, key cut thinner, and shaft was shimmed 0.020":

It works!

The only downside I have found thus far is the table travel is reduced because the unit extends below the table, but, it is easy to take it off if needed.

you know they sell one for benchtop mills too right? the unit lays horizontally and uses a bevel gear to drive it. That way you don't lose travel.

Yeah, I know about the one for benchtop mills, but it costs more than twice as much, so I thought I would give this a try.

I have the one that Precision Mathews sells for the mill. It is upwards of $400 when I bought it. I also have one of the Vevor ones on my Bridgeport clone and it works fine. When Vevor had a sell on them about a year or so ago I bought an extra still in the box. I may put it to use on my 8" rotary Table. I saw a video on "My Little Mule" where he is taking apart an old rotary table with one on it. Looks like the adaptor would be really easy to make. In the case of the PM 833 it would be just as easy to make an extension so you could use the entire length of the table. a fyfi I have taken both apart and the inside are near the same. The one that Precision Mathews is supposed to be a larger Inch Pound rating.
