Vacuum tubes in NH

Not mine, just over the river in NH.

 
It would be very helpful to know what tubes they might be such as 6L6, 5Z3, 80, VT25, ETC. I see a lot of octal
bases that they started to use in the later 30s. Four pin tubes were earlier than that back in the 20s. Tubes with a top connection were either a plate cap or grid cap depending on the tube application.

The tube with the brown base is definitely a rectifier tube, probably 5Z3 or an 80 tube. It could also be a 5Y3 if it has an octal base. The VU Brites are a little transformer device used to increase the filament voltage on somewhat failing picture tubes. Also I saw several Compactron tubes which were generally used in television sets from the 60s to 80s approximately.

Showing an RCA box means nothing- show us the numbers on the end of the box at least!
