I just found my second and third class (E-4,E-5) lathe operation and benchwork training pamphlet 279 (USN navpers 10541-a and 10530-b.
I have been looking for itfor some time.I had first completed the book work third class in July 1976 and the second class in Jan. 1978.
It is a very good pamphlet for beginners.

If you would like to upload it we can help you get it into the files section for all the members who might be interested. Since it is a Mil book there is no copyright issues and it would be a great book to have in the archives. If you decide to upload it holler and one of the mods will be glad to help if you have any problem.
