Upload quota?

I wanted to post pics of my Clausing & Atlas lathes and my Burke #4 horizontal milling machine with Bridgeport M head to discuss and ask questions of the members here, but i keep getting an error message saying the attachment exceeds my upload quota by_ KB(varies with picture)
I have reduced them to 640 x 360 pixels. What am I doing wrong?

It's the number of posts that is causing that.

Under 20 posts, there is a limit.

I will bump you to 20 to allow you to post all the photos you like.

None of my old posts came through with the change to the new web host, although they probably didn't come to 20.
