universal joint

Hi all looking for a 3/8 universal joint small bore. My Index 55 is missing a few pieces for the power spindle. It is 3/8th's smoothbore on each end. A reasonable source would be great. Campy

Grainger has them, but they aren't cheap.

Any power transmission house will have them. Places like Motion Industries. Probably beat Grainger on price too.

Try Tractor Supply, or your local auto parts store.( not the local chain store with the zit faced kid using a computer, the real parts store with the ornery old guy standing in front of an old catalog rack)

If you come up empty I have a couple hiding in the shop and they have not been bored yet so you can make them what size you want.

I'm in Australia and have bought some uni's from Borgeson a couple of times. Most recent about 3 years ago. Reasonable price and the service was excellent. The last one I bought was an oddball configeration but that was no problem for them either. They made it up out of various bits from std unis. No extra cost.
