Hello everyone. My name is Dave but prefer to go by DJ. I am a long time lurker and have learned some useful, creative, and very cool things reading these forums. The last few months I have been working on restoring a Unimat DB200/SL1000 Jewelers lathe which I have thoroughly enjoyed. I learned alot in every aspect and now I feel it is time to move on to big and bettet things. Probably another lathe but one that is way bigger since Ive maxed out what I can do on the DB200.
So a little history, I purchased the lathe a few months ago and I was told it ran. Overall didnt look too bad othet then a lot of wood chips, saw dust, and rust in a few small areas. Entire machine was taken apart and inspected and tested. Any rust was carefully removed with chemicals and light sanding, everything was thoroughly cleaned, polished lightely using a dremel, re-oiled or greased, reassembled and tested. The machine is 100% percent factory original (parts and paint) except for 2 screws which i had to replace due to previous owner stripping them out. Its in like new shape and has gotten compliments from all my friends that have stopped by and seen it. Ive used it for a few little odd jobs and it runs perfectly. Nice and strong, quiet and no issues.
The lathe comes with the following items:
3 jaw chuck
Drill chuck w/ key
Dead center
Sanding plate
Small vice
2 additional sets of brand new belts (first set already on themachine)
2 factory manuals for the lathe will also be provided and various other items that Im sure Im leaving out. No tooling or toolpost will be included. I am keeping mine.

Asking $600 or best REASONABLE/FAIR offer. Lathes in considerably worse condition sell for way more on ebay. So I think is a steal!!
Shipping would be a flat $35 via USPS Priority mail with Insurance and tracking within 24 hours of payment receieved. I can ship via UPS also if thats what you prefer. Payment would have to be Venmo, Postal MO or cash in person. Prefer to have someone local purchase but Im fine with shipping as well. I have averified Business account with Venmo that protects both parties. Also 100% positive feedback on ebay and Amazon, offerup as I run a warehouse and sell things online on a regular basis.
