I was at my daughters new house the other day, and they were in the basement. They said they found some loose boards in the ceiling under the stairs, and they pulled down two cigar boxes, a bunch of grinding wheels, and a home made grinding arbor. One cigar box had about 100 reamers, mostly odd sized, and the other box a set of expandable mandrels. They had no idea what they were so bonus for me!

Nice find...! Better than a box of money, you might have had to share it if it had been money:))

I've found hammers and screwdrivers, but not great stuff!!
You've set a challenge for my daughters.
Can they find houses equally wonderful?

Strange place to store machine tools. Makes me think his wife may not have approved of all the tooling he owned. "What account? No honey, I havent been buying anymore junk! Look come downstairs and see. Theres nothing new here!"

Cheers Phil

LOL, you should run not walk to buy power ball ticket. Great wind fall.
Happy machining
