Turning ETD-150

Anyone eve ruse this material? Supposed to have better machinability than 4140HT.

The shop I worked in many years ago used it quite a bit. I can't comment on the machinability compared to 4140HT but it does machine nice. By nice I mean regularly used cutting tool materials, e.g. HSS and carbide cut it without problems and leave a nice finish. As I recall it's heat treated to about 32 Rc, but I could be wrong on that. The down side it only comes in round stock. Great for making shafts.
