Had a 2 "aluminum laying around and started this project as a challenge.
But, after all trigonometry and calculations I realized that it is way easyer than it looked at begining.
It consist in bore a stepped hole and machine two internal channel. Same thing 6 times.


Now, people who I show it look at me as I'm a pro!
 
If you can bore a dia and hold a depth 6 times you can make one. I don't even do the math I eyeball it. It is a little harder to cut them apart. I think if you do the math you could grind a step drill with a number of steps and you could plunge the faces of a cube 6 times and all you have to hold is the depth.
