Trouble with Apron/Saddle Disassembly on 10F

Hi -
I am trying to disassemble the apron from the saddle on a 10F lathe.
The two large Phillips Pan head bolts are being stubborn. Does anyone have
a 'trick' to getting these loose?

As suggested, an impact hammer likely will work. Note that some have a selector to go either left or right. Also be sure to properly support the carriage to not cause damage if you get carried away with the large impact destruction device.

Thanks for the tip regarding the impact screwdriver... Ran up to the local harbor freight (~ 2mi) and purchased the very model.
Worked like a champ.
