Does anyone have any experience with a verticle Tree milling machine? Thanks
Patrick

Edit: to remove some ignorance, it isn a Tree, it's a Gorton. Sorry....

I have a Tree 2UVR and I love it. I would describe it as a BP on steroids. But then, You're talking about a Gorton aren't you Pat.
What's a 9J Tree?

My mistake stevec, I don't know where the Tree came from. The mill is a Gorton 9J. I had been looking at a bunch of mills for sale and they kinda all ran together. I'm going to look at the Gorton this weekend and I'm taking my trailer with me.

Good thing I took my trailer with me cause it wouldn't have fit in the back of my van. The owners brother-in-law loaded it onto my trailer with a skidsteer loader after we dragged it to the door with a chain and the loader. It needs some cleaning and new paint and will be ready to make some chips.

Well, I got it unloaded and moved inside. I tried to unload it from the side the way we loaded it, but it was too heavy and was lifting the back of the forklift. I had to drag it to the rear of the trailer so that I could get a closer pick. Got it to my overhead door and the forklift couldn't carry it inside because of the back rack on top of the forks. I ended up pushing it inside to just under the overhead chainfall. I will set it with the chainfall once I get it cleaned up and painted.

It weighs in at 3660 lbs.
