In my search for machinist stuff for my beginners shop, I turned up a guy with some goodies that I'm interested in, dividing head, 90 degree blocks, a vise. He also has an old treadle or pedal lathe. He couldn't remember the maker, but he said it wasn't a Barnes. He believed the maker began with an E. Any ideas who this might be? I really wanted to press him on it, but he's older and in bad health so I'm thinking I'll just roll the dice and make the long drive with some money in my pocket. He only wants $100 for the lathe, but it needs restoration. I think I'm catching the old iron disease.
