They have quite a following and are commonly repaired. I inherited a metric/inch model 7 in very nice shape. Sold it for enough to buy a DRO and some other tooling besides.

Do you know how to fix them?

They are pretty self explanatory once you get into them. But if the gears are broken they are hard to repair. Just have pay attention to the preload springs for the gears.

I have 2 that I thought I would use but never did. Maybe one day I’ll get a machine and put them on.

My friend Chris always repaired them for my shop. He still does even though I'm long gone.

The seller is a used machinery dealer. He probably removed them from machines he purchased.

I have a couple of those. I need to list them on eBay. I like them but no place to put it on my lathe due to the way the on/off lever is positioned.
