here is a little project i made. it is made of 6061 t6, and i have tested it up to 100psi external pressure (equal to about 230ft of water. ) not even a hint of moisture inside. i put it in a container of water and pressurized it to see if water for past the o ring. i dont know what the max pressure it can take is, but i imagine its pretty high. the minimum wall thickness is about 4mm.

Nice looking work. I'm guessing this is something like a dive wallet? Might want to make sure you rinse it in fresh water after use, IIRC 6061 will corrode in the pressence of salt water/air.

im going to give it to my dad. i doubt it will ever see 200ft of water, i just tested it for curiosities sake. he wanted me to make something for him but he didn't know what, so i decided to make a super tough vessel )

it is mostly intended to be water proof, not pressure proof.
